January 12, 1999  Case Corporation

Case Corporation, a government contractor, has agreed to pay $1.9 Million Dollars to settle claims that it overcharged the General Services Administration for road building equipment, by not offering GSA the same discounts it provided to other customers. The allegations of the case were that the Racine, Wisconsin corporation failed to provide accurate pricing information to government negotiators for road building equipment. Case Corporation was required by law to disclose its pricing practices to the government, and to provide all discounts to the government that it would offer to other customers.
