Science Applications International Corporation has agreed to pay $2.5 Million Dollars to settle claims asserted in a qui tam action filed by a private relator, Michael Dwight Woodlee.
The allegations of the case were that the company knowingly failed to report information about its costs during price negotiations with the U.S. Air Force, which constituted a violation of the federal Truth in Negotiations Act.
As part of the settlement Mr. Woodlee is to receive $500,000.00 for having filed the qui tam case.
